Another camera roll post. I concluded that I really love doing these types of posts because it’s a visual recap of my month. In my last camera roll post, I mentioned that I consider them as filler posts and are very easy to write (my thoughts have not changed). Let’s get into it!
Reading Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
I finally read Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and can confirm that this is easily the best book I have read so far this year. I now understand the hype and how Gabrielle Zevin’s book was Goodreads book of the year in 2022. I shared my detailed review of this book in this post but this was such a memorable book and would recommend you read it. I was thoroughly impressed with the storyline and fell in love with Marx’s character.
RIP Fitbit Charge 5
I woke up this past Wednesday to my Fitbit band breaking. I honestly do not know how it happened and it’s the part that did not come with a replacement. My only option is to buy a new band which I do not want to (story for another day). I am contemplating getting a replacement or simply switching to a Garmin. Since modern problems require modern solutions, I simply used gorilla glue to fix it. So far so good but I am certain that this will now be a weekly thing. The same thing happened to my Charge 4 last year and opted for an upgrade instead of a band replacement. Maybe this is Fitbit’s strategy: the band will always break after 1.5 years?
Broken Nail
I was literally telling my friend how I love my new nails and have had them for a month and they still look fresh. This is what I get for running my mouth because I was making my bed this morning and the nail broke. UGH! I was doing so well and had a no sooner than moment! Pain!
Nike Run Club Stats
I was going through my Nike Run Club app and my statistics shocked me! I love that I can see how many runs I have done ever since I started my running era. I have done 782.7 km and spent 100 hours running. I find this so crazy because last year I could not believe I would be running for fun but here we are. I wonder what new hobby I will pick up next year!!
Bold Titles
Finally, I reached out to my website partner (17th Avenue) regarding why my blog posts never seem to have bold titles and they assisted me. Happy to say that now all my posts have a bold title. The new challenge is that the bold titles disappear as soon as the latest post becomes a popular post on my blog. I can never win when it comes to website management.
